Oxfam commissioned OnePoll to find out what people actually wear and found that most women rarely shift from their maximum-five-outfit loop, while just over half of men said 30% of their clothes never see the light of day. Women too admit that around one-third of the pieces they own are never worn.The survey of 1,000 adults showed that most women stick with one pair of jeans, four T-shirts and three knits in various combinations and one reason many of their other clothes stay firmly in their drawers or wardrobes is because many items simply don’t fit. Some 73% of women and 60% of men said they own a number of items that don’t fit.
